STAR-SORB HDD
STAR-SORB HDD is a 25% wood fiber, 75% super absorbent polymer blend. The blend absorbs many times its weight in aqueous solutions, resulting in a stackable solid. STAR-SORB HDD is intended to solidify wet soil, general wastewaters and simple sludge for disposal to landfill or certified special waste site.
Application
STAR-SORB HDD should be added directly to the waste stream in small amounts as it absorbs the liquid portion of the waste. The amount of STAR-SORB HDD added will depend on the amount of liquid in the waste to be solidified. Cuttings waste would require a lot less material than lower density liquid waste streams like spent drilling fluid.
